Transgender Day of Remembrance
The Pride Center of Staten Island’s Transgender Day of Remembrance event serves to raise public awareness of hate crimes against transgender people and to publicly honor the lives of our brothers and sisters who might otherwise be forgotten.
This day of remembrance gives transgender people and allies a chance to step forward and remember those who have died by anti-transgender violence and empower the transgender and gender-expansive community.
Please join us Saturday, November 20th, at Alice Austen House from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm for a candlelight vigil with the community. There will be refreshments and a live performance.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, attendance is limited to 50 people, Entry is not guaranteed if you have not pre-registered.
