On September 28, 2022, at 6PM as part of the Brooklyn Book Festival Bookends event series The Alice Austen House hosted a live virtual poetry reading showcasing new works from 5 Staten Island poets: Thomas Fucaloro, Matt Figgz, M.A. Dennis, Kofi Antwi, Julie Bensten, and Nahja Abdul-Qawiyy.
